PALACE OF ORGYAN

The Palace of Orgyan is a Vajrayana Buddhist Temple to be built in Taiwan.  I worked on these preliminary plans with Lama Pema Dorje.  The Tibetan style temple will be 100 feet long on each side, built of reinforced concrete.  It is essentially a 3 dimension mandala representing the 3 Kayas of Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche)  The 1st floor, representing the nirmanakaya, will be painted with frescoes depicting the Gurus life.  The second floor, Samboghakaya, will house statues of the yidams, Dakinis and Dharmapalas.  The 3rd level will have a meditation hall under a large ferrocement statue of Guru Rinpoche.
